Bryan because a ‘true rural educator’ after his experience at the Savannah R-III and Chillicothe R-II as a building level administrator. His eyes were opened quickly, that the life of a small school rural administrator is different from the lives of the bigger rural schools.Bryan has learned through experience that the life of a rural school superintendent is not just developing and implementing budgets. He oversees bus routes, is a helping hand with cleaning, serving lunch as necessary while having first-hand knowledge of the instructional processes. These experiences have provided him with a widespread understanding of how a districts programs all must work together to ensure a quality learning environment.
