Madison Owen - 2018 CTS Group Scholarship Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMadison Owen is a graduate of Northeast Randolph High School in Cairo, Missouri. She is currently a student at Columbia College, in Columbia, Missouri working on a major in English with a minor in Education.
Madison shares that she plans to make her classroom welcoming and comfortable for her students so that healthy and memorable learning experiences will occur. Her desire is to build close working relationships with her students and to share her love for the English language and literature with them.
One of her college professors shares that Madison will be able to relate well to her rural students, engaging them and guiding them academically and socially. She further contends that Madison will make a caring and dedicated teacher that will be an asset to the profession and any school she joins.
