Hannah Trump is a graduate of Clark County High School – Kahoka, MO. She is currently attending Hannibal-LaGrange University – Hannibal, MO, majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English.
Hannah shares that she grew up in a small town in Missouri and attended a rural school my entire life. I have always known I wanted to become a teacher in a rural school district when I grew up because I had teachers that encouraged me in high school and I want to do the same. Among the lessons learned in a rural school system is I was taught how to work hard and build many personal relationships with people and not just go along without being interested in someone’s life. The teachers are the reason I want to teach in a rural education system.
One of her college professors shares that Hannah has demonstrated leadership qualities and dependability in and out of the classroom. Her fine academic record, contributions to the course, and commitment to the development of her peers teaching abilities is an example of the type of commitment to teaching excellence that is expected at Hannibal LaGrange.
Building on a dream to become a great teacher, influencing and helping children recognize all the potential they have, we offer congratulations to Hannah Trump the 2015 CTS Group Scholarship recipient.
