Chief Academic Officer


JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description available upon request. An individual who holds this position has
the following:
● A bachelor’s degree in the field of education or in a core subject area that includes an
approved teacher preparation program or higher degree with an emphasis in the field of
education or in a core subject area
● A master's degree in Educational Administration or a Master’s in Education
● A specialist degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum Specialist preferred


SALARY RANGE: Starting at $81,442.97 per year
● New employees receive credit for previous FULL years of verified experience in appropriate
experience related to the area in which they will work.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position works year round.


BENEFITS:
Administrator 12-month employees at Perry County School District 32 receive the following benefits:
● The district pays up to $650.00 per month for the employee’s medical insurance, which begins on
the first day of the month following the official employment date. Vision, dental, and life insurance
are optional and at employee expense.
● District-paid $10,000.00 life insurance policy.
● Paid leave: 12 sick days and unused sick leave will be cumulative to 180 days, with a maximum
carryover of 168 days; 2 personal days that do not carryover, but are added to the annual sick
leave and then qualify for accumulation; 20 days of vacation, these do not qualify for
accumulation.
● Excellent retirement package, with District-matched 14.5% contribution to PSRS.
