R-V School District to assist with their search for a Superintendent of the School District located at 126 S High School Avenue, Ravenwood, Missouri, 64479. The selected candidate will assume leadership responsibilities on July 1, 2025. Northeast Nodaway R-V District is a PK-12 district serving 203 students with a total staff of approximately 42. Community Profile
Northeast Nodaway R-V School District is located in Ravenwood, MO and also serves the community of Parnell, MO. Ravenwood/Parnell is a rural community where residents enjoy a quiet country lifestyle, while being close proximity to resources and recreation offered in surrounding areas. Northwest Missouri State University is close by and has very successful athletic programs to follow. Mozingo Lake is within 5 miles of Ravenwood and offers opportunities for camping, fishing, and trail riding. There are also many places in the community for hunting wildlife. Metropolitan shopping or travel from an airport is accessible within driving distance to the North or the South.
Northeast Nodaway R-V School District serves approximately 200 students in preschool to 12th grade. The district has nice, modern facilities that allow for a great educational environment. Facilities include an Ag shop, FFA farm ground, a phenomenal baseball field, hard surface walking track, new parking garage, hard surface parking lot and a competition gym and a practice gym as well as a nice library. The school is the hub for many community activities, and the community values and supports the school district. The most recent bond issue was passed the first time it was on the ballot and enabled the new baseball field and practice track to be built as well as a parking garage. The district employs two building principals, 25 certified staff members and 10 support staff. The school is located about 10 miles east of Maryville, MO.
Locally, Parnell and Ravenwood have a gas station, 2 service stations, a mechanic shop, body shop, beauty shop, baking business, catering business, bar & grill, 4 churches, bus company who contracts with the school, MFA 4 Rivers, and a post office in each town.
