Maysville R-I Superintendent Vacancy for 2025-2026

The Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Maysville R-I School District to assist with their search for a Superintendent of the School District located at 601 W Main, Maysville, Missouri, 64469. The selected candidate will assume leadership responsibilities on July 1, 2025.  Maysville R-I District is a PK-12 district serving 472 students with a total staff of approximately 79.  For more information on this great opportunity, please access the links below:

 

The Missouri Association of Rural Education Superintendent Search Service is accepting applications for District Superintendent of the Maysville R-I School District.  The Maysville R-I School District is a K-12 District, serving approximately 475 students.  The District employs two building principals, one special education director/dean of students, one technology director, one athletic director, 60 certified staff, and 15 support staff.  This school is located West of St. Joseph and North of Cameron.  Maysville is in a rural community who truly values and supports their school.  The district just completed a $1.5 million elementary school renovation along with other facility upgrades.  Maysville is a 4 day week with teachers and students in attendance Tuesday-Friday, 7:45 AM-3:31 PM

 

Maysville R-I is a member of the The Grand River Conference.  Athletically, the District has been competitive at the state level in the last four years with baseball, softball, girls track, and girls golf finishing in the final four. We have had multiple state qualifiers in girls golf, boys golf, and wrestling.

 

Maysville offers dual credit coursework through NWMSU and NCMC.  Students attend Hillyards Technical Center in St. Joseph, MO for vocational education.  The district has strong practical arts programs.  The Vocational Agriculture Program continues to be competitive at the local, district and state level competitions. 64% of students in grades 9-12 participate in Vocational Agriculture.  The FACS program offers several life skills courses. The FCCLA program continues to compete at the local, state, and at the national level.  Last year, FCCLA had a national champion with several national runner-ups.  FBLA continues to build every year with competitions at the district, state, and national levels.  Maysville continues to host the District meetings as the adviser is also the District Adviser and consistently has District Officers.
