Landon Figg - 2018 Frank "Dean" Cone Scholarship Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLandon Figg is a graduate of Lafayette County High School in Higginsville, Missouri. He is currently a student at Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville, Missouri working on a major in K-12 Physical Education.
Landon shares that he has personally experienced the connectedness, accountability and tremendous amount of pride and community support that often exists in rural schools. As a teacher, he wants to be able to walk the school's hallways and know all of the students by name.
One of his college professors shares that Landon's work ethic, character, commitment to academic achievement and leadership ability will make him an excellent addition to the physical education profession.
