Kaylie Sappington - 2018 David M. Cooper Scholarship Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerKaylie Sappington is a graduate of Dadeville High School in Dadeville, Missouri. She is currently a student at Missouri State University, in Springfield, Missouri working on a major in Elementary Education.
Kaylie shares that she wants to teach in a rural community so that she can get to know her students better, understand their individual needs and be able to provide individual attention when and where needed.
One of her college professors shares that Kaylie's demonstrated leadership, academic excellence, volunteer efforts, and high-quality and innovative teaching ideas will have a very positive and beneficial impact on the rural community where she teaches.
