Logan Wascher - 2018 William G. Peter Scholarship Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLogan Wascher is a graduate of Rantoul Township High School in Rantoul, Illinois. She is currently a student at Southeast Missouri State University, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri working on a major in Elementary Education.
Logan believes her experience growing up in a rural setting will help her be able to relate to her students and to develop meaningful relationships. She plans to prepare lessons that will help her students see the commonalities and differences between their lives and the lives of those from other cultures and parts of the world.
One of her college professors shares that Logan's work ethic, pleasant personality, and dedication to her chosen profession make her a very promising future elementary teacher.
